Hotel Sarmis - Deva

Good wifi connectivity allowed me to stay productive.

Unfortunately, the staff at reception appeared disinterested and unfriendly. The breakfast selection was disappointing, especially since it was nearly empty by the time I arrived. The room was not cleaned properly after the first night, with bins not emptied and towels not replaced.

The location was absolutely perfect and excellent, just off the centre, the train station and main attractions. The room I booked was beautiful and warm with good breakfast 16 lei and towells as expected. Really helpful people were working here.

Air conditioned and clean rooms provided with good breakfast, towells, as for instance. Free parking, great service. A beautiful hotel, my first choice in Deva.

Location near the cathedral was fantastic. I loved having a little balcony with a view. The room was spacious and quiet, ideal. The breakfast offered a good variety, though I noticed some items weren't refilled quickly enough. Housekeeping could improve. Bins weren't emptied after the first night. Some daytime smells from the kitchen were present and not very pleasant, especially in the morning. Parking was convenient, but it was tricky finding a spot late at night. The stay was enjoyable, but a few adjustments could enhance the experience.

the location is excellent. the hotel is situated in the center of the city. it was clean, the staff was helpful and everything went well.

the hotel offers wired internet but i would have like wireless internet as well. other than this the hotel was very good.

Charming stay with a view

The room was impeccably clean, and I loved the beautiful view of the nearby church from my small balcony. The hotel's central location made exploring Deva effortless.

The breakfast selection was disappointing and not replenished quickly, leaving me underwhelmed. Occasionally strong kitchen odors wafted into the room, which detracted from the experience.

Everything was perfect. The hotel staff was very kind and helpful. Apartment is large and the rooms are separate. The rooms are very clean. The furniture is new. There are TVs in every room. Parking in front of the hotel is very easy to use. The hotel is located right in the city center, close to all attractions: Magna Curia Museum, Gondola, Citadel, City Waterpark.

I really liked the location-smack bang in the city centre and heaps easy for exploring. But the cleanliness was a bit dodgy, and no change of towels for the entire stay, yuck!

I had a lovely time here, enjoying the comfy bed and a solid breakfast spread that kept me fueled for the day. There's a nice lounge area and a little garden space to unwind after exploring. Just a heads up, the shower could use some fixing up, but it didn't take away from my overall experience! 😊

The room was well-equipped with beautiful furnishings. And offered a lovely view from the balcony. Staff assistance for bus tickets was a bonus, and the on-site parking was convenient.

The door to the room didn't close tightly, and morning kitchen odors could be noticeable at times.

Family with children need to know this

The location was great and the breakfast, once we figured out the buffet, it was pretty decent. I also enjoyed the small balcony where we could catch some fresh air after a long day.

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but still decent for what we paid.

This place is good, and has everything I need like good Wi-Fi, air conditioning, luggage storage, and non-smoking rooms. The staff even helped me with printing on my first stay. I highly recommend it for a comfortable trip!
